Worms Revolution Extreme Releases this Autumn for Vita

By   /   3 years ago

Based on last year’s title, Worms Revolution Extreme will release for the PlayStation Vita this autumn, developer Team 17 announced today.

On the Vita, the game will utilize the touchscreen and rear touchpad to select items, move around the camera and aim their weapons. The game will also feature cross-platform play, with PS3 players linking with the Vita ones to unlock gifts and rewards in a new Treasure Mode.

In total there are going to be 47 missions and 25 puzzles which are set across a variety of landscapes.

“This all new mode enables you to link up with your friends who have a PS3 system (or vice versa),” explained Team 17’s Bethany Aston. “You can help each other unlock 10 special gifts using a lock and key system. Meet the requirements in either offline Versus or online battles to receive a key and connect to a friend’s PlayStation 3 system with the corresponding chest to unlock the treasure!”

Worms Revolution Extreme will launch later this year.
