Crytek Hiring for Linux Version of CryEngine 3

According to a new job listing Crytek is searching for programmers who will work on a Linux version of their CryEngine 3.

“The CryEngine team is looking for a programmer to work on the Linux version of the 3D engine,” reads the job advertisement.

The CryEngine 3 is the latest version of Crytek’s game engine which has been used to power the concluding iteration of the Crysis series. The engine is also ready to work on next-gen games for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Shadow of the Eternals and Star Citizen are two titles that have been announced to be in development and will utilize the power of CryEngine 3.
