Skullgirls Arrives to PC on 22nd of August

By   /   3 years ago

Though initially developed for the consoles by Lab Zero Games and Reverge Labs, it has been known about Skullgirls that a PC version was on its way. Now, according to a tweet on their verified twitter account we have learnt the official release date for PC to be 22nd of August.

The way Skullgirls was showcased at this year’s EVO left an impression of uniqueness in style as far as fighting games are concerned. It is a well crafted community driven game that newcomers would come to love.

This Autumn Games and Lab Zero venture is an indie cult fighting game that lets players choose a mix of more than one fighter while dividing the total pool of strength among them. You can choose to play with three characters tagging in and out of the game at your choice or you can simply go ahead with one character that will have all the strength and health.

According to Siliconera, the platforms where the PC version will be available after the 22nd are GameFly, GamersGate, GameStop PC Downloads, Origin, and Steam.

On the other hand, for those who can’t wait till then, the preorders start from the 1st of August. This comes with additional perks too; the preorder will give you access to the beta version as well as a Character Color Pack that includes five color palettes for each of the eight playable characters.

The game has held a community of its own on Xbox and PlayStation and we expect the release to PC will churn out a new group of audience to Skullgirls.
