Twelve Event-Defining Photos of E3 2013

By   /   3 years ago

E3 2013 was one hell of an event. There were people dressed like video game characters promoting video games, dancers dancing to promote video games, luxury cars parked on the show floor to promote video games, beer to promote video games, women in a diner promoting video games and a Nintendo Escalade.

Unfortunately all of these things got in the way of actually playing the video games. But if you couldn’t make it to E3, check out these 13 defining images of E3 2013.

The Ouya guys had free booze from 4pm to 7pm. During that time it was the most packed I’d seen it the entire event.

Gran Turismo 6, Forza Motorsport 5 trotted out luxury cars. Then there was Namco Bandai and Nintendo.

I did not expect to see this image ever in my life.

And..

Finally, there was the Microsoft press waiting room, where the only available WiFi was….PLAYSTATION.
