During Microsoft's E3 media briefing, the company announced a slimmer version of Xbox One called...
Special Forces: Team X, Half off on Steam
Special Forces: Team X will be going on sale on Steam next week. The announcement was made by developer Microprose alongside the publisher Atari Inc.
Starting next week the game will be available on Steam with a price tag of $4.99 only. After the end of next week the game will be available for its regular price of $9.99.
Admittedly the game did not have the most envious of launches. However, since then the game has gone through a multiple transformations according to the developers:
Initially, the game launched with a bug that could randomly reset character XP under certain conditions, and we deeply apologize to any of our players that had to experience this. However, since then multiple patches have been released on Steam to address the issue and also to subtly alter the play mechanics based on customer feedback, which we believe now delivers a faster paced and smoother experience. We are hoping that this price drop will bring players into the game that may have been scared away by the initial launch problems.
No patches have arrived for the XBLA version yet.
Special Forces: Team X (STX) is a fast-paced tactical 3rd person cover based shooter which was released back in February on Steam PC and XBLA. So, if you are looking for some fast paced action, you may want to consider this opportunity.
