Grid 2: Latest Trailer Shows Off Vehicle Customization and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

By   /   Apr 25, 2013

Developer Codemasters has released an extended gameplay trailer for Grid 2 featuring its multiplayer component.

The video showcases new locations, including the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway and gives a first look into vehicle customization and social features. Additionally, it also shows off various game modes, including checkpoint racing in Paris and street racing in Chicago. Some clips for the latter have been around before as well.

The multiplayer will utilize RaceNet, a “free online extension for Codemasters Racing games.” It will provide players with regular objectives and will offer a progression system, separate from career mode.

Grid 2 is currently available for pre-order and comes in two editions. First is the standard one, while the other is a limited edition which includes codes for two future DLC packs.

Grid 2 has been confirmed for a release on May 31 in the UK for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
