By   /   3 years ago

Muramasa: The Demon Blade, the Wii hit action RPG title that was critically praised, is getting a PlayStation Vita remake titled Muramasa Rebirth. Some might remember the developer Vanillaware from their much earlier hit, Odin Sphere, if so, you should definitely try Muramasa, especially now that it is getting a Vita remake.

Publisher Aksys Games has announced the remake’s release date, the 25th of June, for North America. However, no release date for Europe has been announced so far.

The remake will be an enhanced version of the original Muramasa and will include four DLC with new scenarios, characters and more. The controls are also being integrated to fit the Vita.

Aksys will also be selling a limited edition Muramasa Rebirth set which will include a custom cover art and skin by Hori, a Muramasa pouch bag and a lithograph by the game’s creator and lead designer, George Kamitani.

Amazon has listed the limited edition of the game for $59.99 and the normal edition for $39.99.
