Puppeteer Confirmed for Release in Europe at Budget Price

By   /   4 years ago

Sony has announced that its PlayStation 3 exclusive title Puppeteer will launch in Europe on September 11, 2013 for a price of €39.99.

Puppeteer is being developed by Sony’s Tokyo-based Japan Studio and is a platformer with puzzles. The game was announced last year at Gamescom where Gavin Moore, art director at SCE Worldwide Studios spoke of the creepy storyline:

On one dark, moonlit night, the star of the show, a young boy named Kutaro, is carried away by the maleficent Moon Bear King to a black castle where the unlucky lad is transformed into a puppet. Kutaro then displeases the terrible tyrant who duly devours the boy’s wooden head and casts away his body. But the headless hero is not alone, for he discovers a very special pair of magic scissors to help him on his harrowing quest to find his head, and his way home.

The scissors mentioned above can be used by Kutaro, the main character, to cut through the game’s world and take out enemies.
