Sony File Application for Destiny of Spirits Trademark

By   /   3 years ago

Sony want the trademark for some new game software, but just what could it be?

The mysterious new application, filed on March 26 is for something called Destiny of Spirits and the application itself covers a variety of things including computer game software for handheld devices and other video game software. Whatever it is though is still a complete enigma as Sony aren’t commenting on just what it is yet.

This trademark has been filed with the United States Patent & Trademark Office and it’s not just Sony who seem to be trademarking stuff recently. Bethesda’s recent application for Starfield, Bungie putting forward bids for Glimmer, Hive, Fallen Cabal and Vex, Microsoft looking to trademark Marlow Briggs.

It feels like there’s something big going down, possibly in preparation for the next generation of consoles. If nothing else, a lot of big companies are filing a lot of trademarks with the USPTO recently and hopefully that means a lot more games content coming to us soon.
