Runescape was an absolutely addictive Browser-based MMORPG back in the glory days of gaming, but of course with the evolution of gaming and hardware people began to move away from the game, and soon the game had lost a majority of the player base; it seems that the brave MMORPG is still standing strong and remaining optimistic on a brighter future as “Runescape 3″ will run in HTML 5.
Runescape is trying very hard to keep the life-long fans attached to the game in an aggressive dog eat dog world where other MMOs such as World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 are practically pushing other competing MMOs to go free-to-play just to stay afloat.
Runescape 3 will be a breath of fresh air to the series as it promises to bring new changes that are sure to put the game back on the radar. The current testing schedule is:
3rd April: Registration for the RuneScape 3 Beta Programme is opened to members.
10th April: Registration closes.
17th April: HTML5 beta begins.
24th April: New interface alpha begins.
As you can see, the privilege to enter the Beta testing is indeed something to be at least worth trying to get into. If you are an old player or even a returning player, you owe it to yourself to give the game a go, maybe you might find it more to your liking?
