Battlefield 4 Revealed With 17-Minutes of Gameplay Footage
After a leaked trailer and some leaked screenshots made it to the internet earlier today, EA went ahead and posted an official video for Battlefield 4, offering 17 minutes of game play footage.
The game play footage shows the various improvements that come with the Frostbite 3 engine. The footage shows the player exploring the industrial area of a fictionalized Baku, as the objectives roll in.
Interaction with the infantry, squad members and vehicles is shown and is highlighted by the new squad command mechanic and the open world approach to the game. Another thing to note is the use of both optics and iron sights, which has been seen before in the likes of Red Orchestra 2 and Arma 3.
The game includes all the features that we have become accustomed of seeing in the latest war FPS. The developers are focusing heavily on the single player this time around but whether there will be significant changes to the multi-player is still to be seen. We will keep you updated as more news comes in.
