Bioshock Infinite Making its Way to Mac Later this Year

By   /   3 years ago

Gamers everywhere are going crazy with anticipation as March 26th draws ever closer.  PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 users will finally be able to play around in the Bioshock universe once again and the good news is that Mac users won’t be left out in the cold.

In a press release sent out today, Mac publisher Aspyr Media assured users that they will be able to “take on the role of Booker DeWitt as he travels to the lost flying city of Columbia to rescue a mysterious girl named Elizabeth.”

The press release mentions that a release date and pre-order details are coming soon, so we should be seeing something this summer, if not sooner.

With Apple being the preferred computer of choice for many people, this definitely sounds like a sound move for Irrational Games to get a little bit more “bang for their buck”, or “Plasmid for their paycheck” if we’re speaking in Bioshock terms.

Are any of you Mac users out there excited for this announcement or will you just be playing it on a console?
