The world of Metro Last Light isn’t one of sunshine and rainbows, everyday is another day to be grateful to be alive and everyday is a constant struggle. Everyday people are dying and surviving, and it is becoming more difficult every day as people have to scavenge for precious supplies and resources.
These post-apocalyptic Russia games are truly some grim tales and definitely helps set the mood of the entire game. Right now, you should adjust themselves to the dark world of Metro right away.
Metro Last Light is a very dark game in the sense that it makes the player feel like a survivor stuck in the underground, and each day is just another test to see the survival capabilities of the player himself. In a world where monsters and humans are at each other’s throats, there really isn’t much of a choice in do or die and the new trailer show us just that principle in motion.
The entire setting of Metro truly helps make the player fall into the environment of the game and hence why the game has such an amazing appeal to it, and that’s what I think will enable this game to succeed its predecessor.
Metro Last Light will be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this coming May 14th in the US and May 17 th in Europe.
