UK Charts: Ascension Takes 2nd Place And Becomes Series’ Second Biggest Launch

By   /   3 years ago

It seems that even the might of Kratos has failed to shift Lara Croft from the top spot in the latest UK charts.

Tomb Raider enjoys a second straight week sitting at No. 1 while the new God of War: Ascension debuts at second place. Many fans of the Greek Mythology based series would be disappointed to not see Ascension at the top. The good news for them is that the prequel has managed to become the second biggest launch in the series.

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 debut at No. 3 and 4 respectively, while SimCity drastically drops from second to fifth.

Here are the top 10 titles for the previous week:

  1. TOMB RAIDER
  2. GOD OF WAR: ASCENSION
  3. STARCRAFT II: HEART OF THE SWARM
  4. SNIPER: GHOST WARRIOR 2
  5. SIMCITY
  6. FIFA 13
  7. FAR CRY 3
  8. CRYSIS 3
  9. CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS II
  10. THE SIMS 3: UNIVERSITY LIFE
