Far Cry 3 is getting a sizeable patch today for all major consoles.  You’ll see some changes to single player, as well as, mutliplayer along with the usual round of bug fixes.

In single player, liberated enemy outposts can now be reset and recaptured after finishing the game. The story mode can also be replayed on the master difficulty, and a new HUD allows players to hide on-screen information for a clearer view of the jungle islands.

The patch’s improvements for multiplayer include a map beta test mode.  This mode allows players to publish their uploaded maps as a beta test to see how it is utilized by other players before releasing it to the public. You can also search through all maps created by a single author if you like how a certain player does things in the map making world. In terms of making matches better and run smoother, there is now more time to cast a vote for the map you want to play on, and idle players won’t be kicked from custom and private matches.

What do you guys think of the new updates?
