Thief 4 Developer Working On An Unannounced Title

By   /   3 years ago

An upcoming release for a new installment in Thief seems more and more likely. Although the game was officially announced to be in development way back in 2009, it never came to life. All we got was rumor after rumor that the game is finally coming.

We are now reporting another speculation adding to the list. The LinkIn profiles of UI/Gameplay Developer, Alexander Richer, who has worked on such titles as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Watch Dogs and Tomb Raider and also Senior UI Artist, Louis Auger, who worked on Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Both professionals belong to Eidos Montreal and are working on an unannounced game title which is most probably another Thief title.

Last year, we also got a promise of more news on the game by the studio’s General Manager, Stephane D’Astous. D’Astous told fans that more news would be revealed by the end of the year, but 2012 went by with no further news.

On a brighter note, with the time the game has spent “in development”, it must be worth the wait.
