Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta Was Downloaded 3 Million Times

By   /   3 years ago

Electronic Arts revealed today that over three million players took part in the multiplayer open beta event for the upcoming Crysis 3 title. The press release also noted that pre-orders of the game were 35% higher than they were for both the original Crysis and Crysis 2.

Crysis 3 is going to be officially released next week on Tuesday February 19 for all major platforms Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The title is going to be the last installment in the trilogy and developer Crytek has already confirmed that the story will end right here and now.

However, this will not mean the end of the franchise. Future Crysis titles have been talked about but they will be in a separate setting altogether.
