Release Date For Black Ops 2 Revolution Map Pack For PS3 And PC

By   /   Feb 13, 2013

Activision has just announced the release date for the Black Ops 2 Revolution Map Pack DLC. While it previously launched exclusively for the Xbox 360 on the 29th of January, it is now seeing a release a month later, for both the PC And PS3.

On February 28th, you’ll be able to pick up this map pack for $14.99, which comes with four new maps, a new zombie game mode, another zombie map, and for the first time ever, a new weapon for multiplayer.

Among the new maps you’ll find a sand covered resort in China’s Gobi Desert, a skate park in Venice Beach, a French ski resort (complete with ski lifts), and finally, a hydroelectric planet in Pakistan. The new zombie map is called Die Rise, and is set amidst crumbling skyscrapers.

As for the new zombie mode, players will actually be allowed to play as zombies, trying to kill a lone survivor.

Revolution is the first in a series of four expansions, planned for Black Ops 2. You can pick each one up separately, for $14.99 or pick them all up for $49.99 in a season pass.
