Ubisoft Offers Demo as Recompense For Rayman Legends Delay

By   /   Feb 9, 2013

Ubisoft has really stirred up a hornets next by choosing to not release the game for the Wii U when development is already finished on it. Instead they have opted to delay it to September and release it for all platforms at once.

The Rayman Legends delay sparked all kinds of outrage from fans everywhere who want the game to be released now, with many saying that a September release will hurt the sales for the game irreparably.

In response to the possibly justified fan rage, Ubisoft is trying to assuage people by releasing a new demo exclusive to the Wii U. Predictably, this seems to be backfiring spectacularly. To the extend that many fans have taken to the petition site Change.org in an effort to make Ubisoft release the game earlier.

Don’t know if this is a smart move by Ubisoft. I mean, competing with Grand Theft Auto 5 with Rayman is a good way to get your ass kicked in the sales department. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
