Tomb Raider Guide To Survival 2 Shows Fast Travel System

By   /   Feb 7, 2013

We were slightly confused whether the new Tomb Raider would be open world like Far Cry considering Lara is on an island or something entirely linear considering she “doesn’t” swim.

The second installment in the Guide To Survival video series shows us that it will be a mix of both. The video focuses on showing us the non-linear gameplay of Tomb Raider. The game offers a fast travel feature between camps. Basically, what this means is that you will be able to instantly revisit locations to take another look, this time, however, with new equipment.

Although the idea is not entirely original, it will be a good addition. You will get equipment such as the bow rope to access places which you could not before, this will provide more puzzles, a deeper gameplay and more exploration. In the past the Tomb Raider series has already provided enough entertainment with a linear gameplay but this addition will bring a fun new twist that a reboot ought to.
