Dragon Quest X on Wii U, Unveiling on 18th Feb

By   /   Feb 7, 2013

Great news for Wii U owners, as Famitsu has just reported an announcement by Square Enix concerning Dragon Quest X on Wii U. Basically they’ve said that they will fully uncover Dragon Quest X Wii U’s release and content plans on February 18th.

The price is probably going to be the same as its Wii counterpart, although additional content and a stamped release date are to be expected.

On a related note, buyers of the Wii U deluxe edition in Japan will be getting access to the Dragon Quest X on Wii U beta instead of Nintendo Land. Dragon Quest X released on the Wii last year and garnered very positive reception.

Unfortunately it was a Japan only title and the Wii U version will follow that trend. The February 18th date is interesting since it’s only two days before Sony’s big announcement about the future of Playstation.

Nintendo says Dragon Quest X is slated for release in spring 2013.
