Artwork Shows Glimpses of Unreleased Mickey Mouse Games

By   /   3 years ago

Y’know how people seem to be always complaining that Hollywood just rehashes the same material? Yeah, they’ve been doing that for years. Stories have been retold, re-imagined, reinvigorated, and now rebooted, for centuries.

In the modern era, Mickey Mouse has taken on several incarnations, some of the likes have never seen the light of day.

Before there was Epic Mickey, Disney worked on a few other Mickey projects, including a game called Spy Mickey, which, from the artwork below, seemed to employ a very tech-heavy paradigm.

Silconera, a Japanese gaming enthusiast site, was able to nab artwork from a former artist in Disney’s employ that show an alternate reality of Mickey Mouse games that, in the scheme of quantum mechanics, we narrowly missed out on.

The artwork shows glimpses of games that were never to be. Games that look rather interesting. Check it out embedded below, and see more over at Siliconera.

Would you have loved to play these Mickey games?
