Skyrim: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn PSN Release Dates Announced

Happy days are just around the corner for Skyrim players on the PlayStation 3. In an official post on their blog Bethesda has announced all three downloadable content packs for Skyrim to have cleared certification with Sony Computers Entertainment America. This ultimately means that Skyrim players on the PS3 can finally get to play the added bonus packs.

The latest Dragonborn DLC will release first on February 12. This will be followed by Hearthfire on February 19 and then finally Dawnguard on February 26. These dates are for North America only and Bethesda has stated that they are currently “working with Sony Europe to finalize certification for other territories.”

Might be a token of their apology for the PS3 consumers or not; all three content packs will be for sale at a 50% reduced price during the first week of their respective releases.

Last year Bethesda came out saying that they were facing problems creating the downloadable content for Sony’s PlayStation 3. The developer gave many deadlines but unfortunately the added packs could not be finalized, until now.
