God of War: Ascension Live Action Trailer Released, See Kratos Shed a Tear

By   /   Feb 1, 2013

As promised by Sony the live action trailer for God of War: Ascension has now been released for all to see.

The two minute long video might start off as a tad too similar to the Hollywood 300 film but later on, the trailer delivers exactly what the developers have been saying for the past few months. The raging Kratos characteristic is only a partial part of Ascension. The prequel will focus more on the human side of Kratos, which will be filled with emotions and a more softer version that the terrifying God of War.

I have to say that this is possibly the best live action trailer ever released by Sony. One should also give credit to the choice of music which just reels us in that much more.

The one tear shown at the end instantly reminds us that prior to five grueling God of War titles, Kratos was once a loving family man. That is until the Gods stepped in and altered his fate to what we now know him as.
