Black Ops 2 Die Rise Mystery Box Locations Guide

The latest map pack DLC for Black Ops 2 has been released and that means there is a new Zombie Mode map. Some of us at SegmentNext had an embarrassingly difficult time finding the first Mystery Box on Die Rise and we’ve decided to compile a small guide on the topic in case there were other poor souls like us out there.

Alright so it’s entirely possible to get to the Mystery Box right on round one but you might now be able to do anything with depending on how many points you have. The minimum amount of points you need is 750 to unlock the double doors right underneath the two red staircases at the start of the map. Once you have the points open the door.

Once it is open, take the corridor to the left and then turn right. There is a huge hole in the wall at the end of the hall. Drop down through the opening and you’ll be on some broken stairs. To your right there should be another massive hole in the wall through which there is a shopping area with loads of wooden furniture. Go across the room and turn right to see an escalator.

Descend to the lower level using the escalator and turn right at the end of the room you find yourself in. You’ll be walking on a small ledge along the side of the building (It’s a long drop on your left so be careful!). You’ll know you’re going the right way if you see a large sign in front of you with Chinese lettering on it.

The room you find yourself in now has another broken wall with a large section of rubble that acts as a slide that takes you to the room with the objective. When you get to the room, look up. You’ll find your first mystery box sitting on the ceiling (the room is upside down).

Hey guys. Noticed that your guide is woefully incomplete, so I decided to help you out a bit. The first location for the mystery box is indeed at the bottom of that slide but of course if you use it one too many times, it disappears. I have found one other confirmed location (at the top of that slide) and one other possible (in the hallways by the sliquifier table)
I hope this helps everyone out.
