No Price Cut For Wii U Says Iwata

If you are one of the guys who were waiting for a price cut before purchasing Nintendo’s latest console, then we have some unfortunates new for you. The Wii U won’t be getting a price cut anytime soon at all.

One day-after Nintendo reported a third fiscal quarter profit, President Satoru Iwata made it clear that the Wii U price will remain the same.

This is what he said to investors and reporters while talking to them in Tokyo:

We are already offering it at a good price.

Furthermore, Iwata also admitted that the Wii U and 3DS sales lost their momentum during the holiday season. Iwata also promised an operating profit of 1 billion yen by the end of March 2014.
