An announcement made today on Tomb Raider’s blog reveals Lara Croft to be getting a new voice actor, as well as the game being Square Enix’s first title to be localized in Arabic.

Nadine Njeim, a major TV personality who currently hosts a Middle Eastern music talent show, is going to bring new life to Lara Croft’s character.

Karl Stewart, Global Brand Director at Square-Enic said of the localisation

We are really excited to be bringing Tomb Raider localized into Arabic for the first time in the series history. In localizing Tomb Raider into Arabic, we hope to reward the long term fans, and also attract many more to this origin story of Lara Croft.

The voice actor has also previously held the title of Miss Lebanon 2007. Alongside that she holds a degree in international business and international politics from the Lebanese American University.
