Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel Joins Australia’s R18+ Classification System

By   /   Jan 22, 2013

Earlier this year Australia adopted a new R18+ classification system for video games. This came as great news for publishers who can now submit their games to be considered for the R18+ category. Previously refused games can now also be resubmitted for classification as well.

Since the new classification system came into affect, two games have received the R18+ category – the free to play fighting game Spartacus Legends and Ninja Gaiden: Razor’s Edge for Wii U. Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is now Australia’s third R18+ game, according to an entry the country’s official classification board.

According to the listing, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel contains a high amount of violence and strong mature themes; well we all knew that didn’t we?

Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition has also been sent now for reconsideration following a previous ban.

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is scheduled to launch on March 28 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
