Heart of the Swarm Will Allow Users To Create Their Own Observer Interfaces

By   /   Jan 17, 2013

Blizzard has filled Heart of the Swarm to its brim with new features. Today we have come to know that the game will also include tools to create your very own custom interface for use in observer mode.

These tools are going to be really handy for streamers or casters who otherwise have to come up with their own overlays for customization purposes. Tournament organizers currently also come up with new overlays to display their sponsors. In Heart of the Swarm, this will no longer be needed. Anyone can simply build their own UI from scratch and improve the viewer experience along with it.

However, these options won’t be available within the client itself. Anyone interested will have to get into StarCraft 2’s resource directories and wrestle with the files. For a more detailed post on the feature you can visit this post from Blizzard.

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm releases on March 12 for the PC. This will be the second installment in the trilogy.
