Tomb Raider Developer Diary Talks About Multiplayer

By   /   Jan 9, 2013

Tomb Raider is getting closer to release with every passing moment, and that means that the marketing wheels are beginning to reach higher RPMs. First up is a new developer diary with Zachary Levi, Karl Stewart and Noah Hughes discussing how Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light helped introduce the Tomb Raider fan base to the concept of a multiplayer Tomb Raider. The fact that Guardian of Light was an Xbox Live Arcade title and not an AAA release allowed the developers to take risks with multiplayer they otherwise wouldn’t have.

In the video, you’ll see what the multiplayer gameplay will be live, and how survival, environment and weapons enhance the experience in a new way. There’s also a special reveal about a playable multiplayer character, so check it out for yourself to see!

Tomb Raider releases on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March 5th.
