Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Announced For 3DS This Fall

Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon game series for the 3DS called Pokemon X and Pokemon Y; yes they ditched the colors.

According to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, the new games are currently scheduled for release in October this year. He also added that the titles will release “around the same time” in North America, Europe, Australia and Japan.

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will feature three starter Pokemons: Froakie, Fennekin and Chespin. The titles will make use of 3DS’ features and allow players to connect and play with each other globally.
