Metro: Last Light Uses Same Mechanics Across All Platforms

By   /   Jan 5, 2013

Hungry for Metro: Last Light news? We have the translated dish on it straight from the German PC Games site.

According to PC Games, Metro: Last Light will have the same game mechanics across the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Huw Beynon, the communications leader at THQ Studio, confirmed this in a recent interview. This is significant because 4A Games developed Metro: Last Light with the high-end PC in mind, and had to optimize the engine for moderate PCs and consoles without losing the original technical superiority.

Metro: Last Light takes place in the year 2034, where the last remaining humans live in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Moscow. Needless to say, there will be mutants. Metro: Last Light will come out in the first quarter of the year for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
