No Ports For Older Capcom Games For The Wii U

If any of you Wii U owners were hoping to play Resident Evil 6 or Dragon’s Dogma on the Wii U then we have some sad and unfortunate news for you.

This bit of news was confirmed on the Capcom official forums, where the company vice-president, Christian Svensson, made the following post:

With regard to Wii U, in general we’re looking forward, not back, so late ports are generally not on the table.

Capcom has only one known project for the Wii U in the works and that is Ultimate Monster Hunter 3. It is slated to be released in March of next year. However, Svensson has already also confirmed that other projects for the Wii U by Capcom will be presented later on, and the company hasn’t forgone the Wii U.
