Could Bethesda’s “Redguard” Trademark Be A New Elder Scrolls Game?

By   /   Jan 2, 2013

Bethesda’s parent company Zenimax is still holding strong to one of their trademarks called ‘Redguard’. The trademark was filed back in March of 2011 and was just recently extended in August last year.

Redguard is filed under “downloadble computer game software offered via internet and wireless devices” and it’s unknown if it’s another DLC for Skyrim or an entirely new Elder Scrolls game altogether.

Validity of the trademark expires next month. If Zenimax once against extends the date then we’re probably looking at more content. Speculations put Bethesda with plans for a new Elder Scrolls game for the next-generation consoles, which are strongly believed to be revealed later this year.

So there you have it, what could Redguard be? Perhaps it’s just another DLC for Skyrim or maybe it’s the next-gen Elder Scrolls game that will put even Skyrim to shame.
