We don’t know many things about the Wii U as it is still a very new console. However, information has been steadily coming out ever since its release.
Now we have learned that developers on the Wii U can restrict their game’s demo to a specific number of plays. This means that you cannot play a free demo of a game however many times you like.
Before any of you rage on Nintendo for introducing such a policy keep in mind that it’s the developers choice whether they impose the restriction or not.
Rayman Legends demo is said to be coming with a restriction of 30 plays. Again, please note that it was Ubisoft’s decision to impose the restriction and not Nintendo’s.
If you try to access the demo after it has expired, you will be directed to Nintendo’s e-shop where you will be prompted to purchase the full game.
