Paid subscription to online games is coming to an end. Another MMO who has joined the long list of online games gone free to play is: Mortal Online. This announcement was made on the official forums of the game. Keep in mind that although the game has gone free to play you still have to pay a monthly subscription to get some premium content/benefits of the game.

The premium content/benefits available for purchase are:

1. Maximum for all skills is 100.
2. Premium accounts may use thievery skills.
3. Premium accounts may loot expensive objects.
4. Premium accounts may trade expensive objects.

Free players can only level up their skills to 60. Three character slots will be available to both the F2P and paid subscription model players. You can buy a fourth character slot if you want to. Furthermore, the Grandfathered character slots will remain with the player, even if he/she switches to the Free to Play model.
