Dust 514: Dev Diary Focuses On Vehicles

By   /   3 years ago

Developers of Dust 514 have released a new video which outlines the roles of vehicles in the PS3 exclusive title.

The new developer diary gives us a knowledgeable look into the three main vehicle classes: Light, Heavy and Drop ships. The latter can be considered choppers from the future. In the future we might also see more classes be added to the list, including mechs.

Ryan Thornton, the game designer mentioned that the vehicles “play a vital role” in the game.

You can call a vehicle on demand onto the battlefield as the battle unfolds. These vehicles are yours. You call them in with your money, your blood, your resources and they’re fitted out with your customisations and your weapons.

Currently the game is in its closed beta stage and the open beta is expected to happen in early 2013.

Dust 514 is an online-only free-to-play game for the PlayStation 3.
