PC gamers hoping to get their hands on Halo 4 can probably do so sooner than expected. While rumors have ran themselves silly, as they do around any big release, Microsoft’s PC Gaming Store already, or accidentally, included a Master Chief image.
The screenshot of Halo 4’s Master Chief was used to advertise a series of gaming computers, giving credence to those pesky rumors of Halo 4 coming to PC. Whether or not Microsoft used Master Chief as an indication of Halo 4’s PC release or simply as an iconic Microsoft image is unclear, but it would make sense to bring the Xbox 360’s biggest title to the PC, considering Microsoft’s increasing efforts towards singularity in its market.
Halo hasn’t made its mark on the PC since Halo 2, but Halo 4 could be a way to usher in the Windows 8 generation, much as Halo 2 did with Vista.
