Bad “Bad Piggies” Google Chrome App Installs Adware

By   /   4 years ago

A lot of people are excited to play Bad Piggies. Rovio’s last game “Angry Birds” transcended all barriers of gender, age and tastes to appeal to the general masses like no game before has ever done. So most of us are really excited to play “Bad Piggies,” some may be just a bit too excited though.

Many consumers have installed a Google Chrome plug-in that claims to let you play Bad Piggies for free. However, when you install the app it plants its own adverts on several popular websites, including Yahoo and MSN. While these adverts may just appear to be a harmless irritation to some people they also have the potential to let the app steal your personal information like credit card numbers and email addresses.

Over 80K people have been hoodwinked by this so-called Bad Piggies app. Thus if you want to play Bad Piggies do it the safe way, on an IOS or android device.
