They just keep on coming. Mass Effect 3 is getting even more updates for the multiplayer portion of the game. The newly announced Retaliation expansion will bring the Collectors as a new enemy type. Though, it doesn’t end there.

Nathan Plewws, the Multiplayer Associate Producer for Mass Effect 3, recently blogged about some of the new multiplayer changes. In the blog, he talked about the Challenge Point system, which are essentially bragging rights

Mass Effect 3 will introduce ‘hundreds’ of new challenges, that players will be able to complete at their own pace.

The top tier challenges, are called Gold challenges and will award players who complete them, with unique banners and titles that can be displayed in the multiplayer lobby. Players will be able to complete these gold challenges over and over again, to accumulate even more points.

Along with this new system, comes a new leader board and ways to keep track of your stats. This includes a new N7 HQ web page that will offer a lot of information for those of you who wish to quickly track stats, while not playing the game.
