Borderlands 2 provide players plenty of ways to collect points. Kill enemies, or explore the world of Pandora, you will net some XP. Still, if you adopt a directed approach, you can quickly gather these points and extract the maximum out of the available options.
For instance, there are various types of challenges included in the game that on completion, will rewardyou points. Agreed, some of the challenges are tough but most are pretty straight forward. These challenges will also increase your Badass Rank, and as you develop your Badass Rank, you will get the Badass Tokens. These Tokens then can be spent to increase the stats of your character (out of 14).
There are few other things you need to know about the Badass Rank system. First, there is no level cap for Badass Rank so you can go as high as you can. So, when you get token, you will be asked to choose one from the available five characteristics. This is the sad part as you can’t choose all.
Although the effect of the rank is based on the profile and related to a particular character, this does not mean that one attribute will do good for all the classes. So be cautious in your selection. Following is the list of traits that can be boosted using Badass Tokens:
Critical Hit Damage
Elemental Effect Chance
Elemental Effect Damage
Shield Recharge Delay
Shield Recharge Rate
Badass Rank Level is also based on the level of the challenge you complete The table elaborates it further:
Level of the Challenge
Increment in Badass Rank
For the answer to ‘How the quantity of boost corresponds to the number of tokens spent?’ take a look at the table below and see how tokens spent are increasing but percentage boost is decreasing per token spent. For example, for the first token, you will get 1% boost. Refer to the table below to get a detailed insight on that:
