Namco Bandai wants to give fans more than just a fighting game. Tekken Tag Tournament’s community stat-tracking service World Tekken Federation is its evidence. What’s World Tekken Federation is all about, one might ask?
Namco Bandai has answered this question by announcing that tracking service will have the same features as Call of Duty Elite or Bungie.net. Now, that’s something slightly innovative. Players will be able to manage teams, participate in user competitions, track statistics, and communicate with other members around the globe.
On top of tracking stats, WTF will feature a real-time Leaderboard to keep the community aware of the best players in the competition.
As a player, you will also have the option to team up with others and act like a gang and accumulate points together. Most of all, the service will be free for every player competing online.
Good Enough? To me, it is. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will hit stores on September 11, 2012.
