The World Ends With You Launches iOS Port

By   /   Aug 27, 2012

One of the more famous games to come out of H.A.N.D studio, The World Ends With You, has been launched again today, on iOS this time.

You might remember the highly popular RPG from 2008 that made brilliant use of the Nintendo DS’ various control functions. Well, four years later, long after the game secured it’s place as an icon of the JRPG world, Square Enix have seen fit to re-launch the game on iOS devices.

Seems sensible enough to me, there’s never been a better time to take advantage of the mobile gaming market before.

It’s being relaunched under the title of The World Ends With You: -Solo Remix- and is available for $19 on iPhone or $21 on iPad, or your regional equivalent (I hear £13 for us UK folk).

If you missed out on TWEWY the first time round and can’t find a copy, then I highly recommend picking up this re-make of the original game. Delightful characters, intricate plot and unique gameplay are all brought together to create an incredible game.
