Orcs Must Die 2 – How To Customize Key Bindings

How to customize key bindings by tweaking CFG in Orcs Must Die 2.

In a game-like Orcs Must Die 2, if you don’t have the key bindings of your liking, the orcs’ slaughter may not go as smooth as one may hope.

You may be struggling to find a way to change the key bindings so that your fingers feel like home, right? The solution is pretty straight forward, and you will be able to change the keys through the following simple steps.

Orcs Must Die 2 – How To Customize Key Bindings

Step 1
You need to have a config file named “user.fig” in C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\orcs must die!\data\startup\. You may have it already, but if you don’t, create one (it’s a simple notepad text file) so that you can proceed further.

Step 2
Open the “User.cfg” file and paste the following text in it:

/ Sample Key Bindings
// Uncomment and remap to your liking. (delete the // marks at the beginning of the line)
// Only the commands listed below support key remappings.

//KeyBinding_Forward=”w”
//KeyBinding_Backward=”s”
//KeyBinding_Left=”a”
//KeyBinding_Right=”d”
//KeyBinding_Run=”lshift”
//KeyBinding_Jump=”space”
//KeyBinding_Go=”g”
//KeyBinding_Book=”b”
//KeyBinding_Weavers=”v”
//KeyBinding_Map=”m”
//KeyBinding_Bloodmap=”l”
//KeyBinding_SellTrap=”e”
//KeyBinding_RotateTrap=”r”
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_1=”1″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_2=”2″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_3=”-”
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_4=”4″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_5=”5″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_6=”6″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_7=”7″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_8=”8″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_9=”9″
//KeyBinding_ActionBar_0=”0″

You can change the key corresponding to any particular action in the list above.
