Grand Theft Auto 3 to Be Released on PSN Next Week

By   /   Jul 27, 2012

Grand Theft Auto III, the game that cemented the franchise’s name in the lexicon of gaming will be getting a re-release on the PSN next week.

This was confirmed by on the American PlayStation Blog’s podcast. Sadly, this is a a straight-up port, so that means no Trophies, no HD remake or any other added bells and whistles.

The silver lining in all of this is that GTA III will cost $10 when it’s released on July 31.

While the game might not look good compared to today’s standards, I’m guessing its gameply will still hold up since it’s core gameplay is essentially the same — run over pedestrians and kill everyone.
