Gears of War: Judgement Announced – Story and Characters Details

By   /   4 years ago

Yesterday, GameInformer announced their July cover to be the next Gears of War game and following that, Epic Boss confirmed People Can Fly’s involvement in the development of this game. It seems to me that they couldn’t wait to let loose more information, so while holding back, they decided to announce the name of the game.

Gears of War: Judgement is the July cover of Game Informer which shows series main men Damon Baird and Augustus Cole shackled for their crimes.

Judgement will be the prequel to the first Gears of War game, and we will see the younger version of the future COGS fighting it out, developing the relationships, ultimately leading to the events of the first game.

Baird and Cole are members of Kilo Squad in this game, which was only around for two years following the Emergence Day (E-Day), which happened 14 years before the first Gears of War. This leaves enough for developers to make another trilogy and fans to experience their favorite heroes come out of age.

Thanks to IGN’s anonymous source, we know that Baird, Cole, Garron, and Sofia are the four members of the Kilo Squad that we will be playing. We also know that they are charged with treason, because ‘they didn’t follow orders, stole equipment, and their actions could end up killing millions of people they swore to protect’.

Hopefully, the E3 trailer will shed light on the role of these two new members. Until then, let me know what you think of Gears of War: Judgement in the comments below!
