Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time to Launch Simultaneously on PS3 & PS Vita

By   /   4 years ago

While the PlayStation Vita is one impressive piece of technology, it’s software line-up leaves a lot to be desired. Well, PS Vita owners can celebrate a bit today as Sony has announced that Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will launch simultaneously on both the PS3 and the PS Vita!

Thieves in Time is the fourth entry in the Sly Cooper series and picks up where Sly 3 left off. Sly’s still with Carmelita Fox, but he’s set back to his thieving ways when a mysterious enemy goes back in time to erase Sly’s family legacy.

Okay, while the game might not win any awards for best story, it’s one heck of a platformer. The PS Vita version will be an exact port of the PS3 version and then some. Thieves in Time will incorporate front and rear touchscreen controls and even cross-save compatibility! Yep, that means you can play on the PS3 and then transfer your save on the PS Vita to play the game on the go! Isn’t technology swell?

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is scheduled to be out later this year.
