Beyond Good & Evil’s Sequel Far From Dead

Michael Ancel, the man behind the Rayman games, has stated that his other known game Beyond Good & Evil’s sequel is far from dead.

Speaking to Gameranx, Ancel stated that despite the many theories and lack of announcements the sequel for the game is still under development. The only reason the studio hasn’t made any announcements is because they don’t wish to ‘make promises they won’t keep’.

Beyond Good & Evil, released in 2003, was one of the most innovative and well-written game of its time. However, for random reasons the title never really got the attention and sale that it deserved.

Nevertheless, the amount of fans that it did develop has been eager for a sequel to the action-adventure game, making it sort of a cult classic.

Now since the development is confirmed, it’s only a matter of time when Ubisoft actually start further advertisement of the game and ultimately announce its release date.
