Rumor: THQ and L4D Devs Collaborating on New FPS

By   /   4 years ago

It seems that even though THQ is undergoing a very rough patch right now, the publisher is still pushing through for more games. This time, they’re collaborating with Turtle Rock – makers of the fantastic zombie-shooter Left 4 Dead.

The news was shared by Jeremy Greiner, former community manager for KAOS Studio’s Homefront, over on twitter.

Starting work on the campaign for my next FPS, which is being made by the creators of Left 4 Dead. This one is gonna be amazing.

It’s been widely-rumored that Turtle Rock’s FPS will be titled “Wild.” This was revealed last year by THQ’s Executive Vice-President of Core Games Danny Bilson – though no other details were shared.

Greiner also shared on his twitter that there’s no imminent announcement incoming.

Nothing coming for a while. Rest assured, when we start talking about it, you’ll know :)

While we’re still classifying this one as a rumor since we don’t know any concrete details, I think it’s a safe bet that THQ and Turtle Rock will be releasing a game that concerns guns soon. Hopefully, THQ will still be in business by the time that day comes.
