Bethesda Wants You to be Creative in Skyrim

To say that Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a success would be an understatement. The game has garnered praise critically and commercially…what else can Bethesda do to make the game even better? Why, release a creation kit for free, of course.

Bethesda has just revealed that the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Creation Kit – a content creation mod tool, will be made available soon for free as a Steam download.

The latest developer diary is embedded below if you want to see the thing in action, Production Director, Ashley Cheng is in the video demoing some of the features the mod tool offers. The Skyrim Workshop will also allow users to easily upload, download and install mods.
